Werner Stroud and Harvey Matthewson from charity Aerobility

H-Hour Snapshots #3 Werner Stroud and Harvey Matthewson

This snapshot features Werner Stroud and Harvey Matthewson.

Harvey was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of two. He developed a phobia of flying but at the age of 18 became a volunteer with Aerobility in an attempt to overcome his fear. Now, at the age of just 21 years old, Harvey is a qualified pilot and also a staff member with the charity.

Werner is the WIS Military Engagement and Activities Manager at Aerobility – an aviation charity which strives to remove the barriers that may prevent those with disabilities from flying.

Werner has spent most of his life working in the British Army but also has commercial experience, latterly as the General Manager at Lasham Gliding Society.
