Simon Hannaford has spent 27 years in the British Army and is an Explosives Ordnance Disposal Operator, specialising in Improvised Explosives Devices. In June he will be undertaking a world record attempt, swimming the length of the channel, cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats, and then running from John O’Groats back down to Bicester – all in 26 days. This event will be covering over 1750 miles in 26 days to raise money for the Felix Fund The Bomb Disposal Charity and The Hummingbird Centre in Bicester , a cancer support centre.
