Dan Jarvis MBE is a British Labour Party politician and former British Army officer. From 1997 to 2011, he served in the Parachute Regiment on multiple operational tours. During the final year of his service he tragically lost his wife Caroline to cancer.

Harvey was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of two. He developed a phobia of flying but at the age of 18 became a volunteer with Aerobility in an attempt to overcome his fear. Now, at the age of just 21 years old, Harvey is a qualified pilot and also a staff member with the charity.

Werner is the WIS Military Engagement and Activities Manager at Aerobility – an aviation charity which strives to remove the barriers that may prevent those with disabilities from flying.

Werner has spent most of his life working in the British Army but also has commercial experience, latterly as the General Manager at Lasham Gliding Society.

This snapshot features Brian Wood MC – awarded the Military Cross, one of Britain’s highest awards for gallantry in combat, by Her Majesty The Queen II, for his courageous leadership under enemy fire in Iraq.

In the heat of a lethal close quarters battle, fighting outnumbered, he seized the initiative, taking a split-second decision to lead his men into the teeth of enemy fire in the first bayonet charge by British soldiers in 25 years.

He subsequently became one of a number of men under investigation for war crimes which they did not commit, eventually being found not guilty.
